What it does
- Creates a Zoom meeting on your Zoom account for each call booked with you, and puts the join link in the booking confirmation and calendar invite.
- Moves the meeting when the call is rescheduled and deletes it when the call is cancelled.
- Marks the call as showed when the lead joins, and as a no-show if the meeting ends without them.
Each team member connects their own Zoom account. A free or paid Zoom account works.
Add the app
You need a Slotify team member account. Your admin sends you a private setup link (it looks like slotifyscheduler.com/m/…).
Open your setup link
Open the private link from your admin. You’ll see your setup steps, with Zoom as step 2.
Click “Connect Zoom”
You’re taken to Zoom. Sign in to the Zoom account you take sales calls on, if you aren’t already.
Review and click “Allow”
Zoom shows what Slotify is asking for: to see your Zoom user profile, and to create, update and delete the meetings Slotify makes for your calls.
You’re back in Slotify
The Zoom step shows Connected as your Zoom email. New bookings now get a Zoom meeting automatically.
Backup meeting link
Use it
There’s nothing to do day to day. Once connected:
A lead books a call with you
Slotify creates a Zoom meeting on your account for the call’s time and length, titled with the lead’s name and the call type.
The link goes out automatically
The Zoom join link is in the lead’s confirmation, their reminders, and the event on your Google Calendar (if connected). You start it from Zoom as the host.
Reschedules and cancellations stay in sync
If the call moves, the meeting moves. If the call is cancelled, the meeting is deleted from your Zoom account.
Attendance is tracked
Zoom tells Slotify when someone joins one of these meetings and when it ends. When the lead joins, the call is marked as showed; if the meeting ends after the start time and the lead never joined, it’s marked as a no-show. You and your teammates joining are never counted as the lead. A result you or your admin set by hand always wins.
Remove the app
You can remove Slotify’s access in either place. Both have the same result.
In Slotify
- On your setup link: on the Zoom step, click Disconnect, then confirm.
- Signed in to Slotify: go to Profile → Connections, click Disconnect next to Zoom, then confirm.
Slotify revokes its access at Zoom (which removes the app from your Zoom account) and deletes your Zoom tokens straight away.
In Zoom
Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace
Go to marketplace.zoom.us and sign in.
Open Manage → Added Apps
Click Manage in the top right, then Added Apps (under Personal App Management).
Remove Slotify
Find Slotify and click Remove, then confirm.
Zoom notifies Slotify, and Slotify deletes your Zoom tokens and Zoom account identifiers as soon as the notice arrives.
Data and permissions
What Slotify can access
- Your Zoom user profile: your Zoom email, user ID and account ID, to show which account is connected and to recognise you if you remove the app.
- Meetings Slotify creates: create, update and delete only the meetings it makes for your booked calls.
- Events for those meetings: when the meeting starts and ends, and the name, email (if Zoom shares it) and join time of people who join, to mark attendance.
Slotify does not access your recordings, chat, contacts, phone, or meetings it didn’t create.
What happens to your data when you remove the app
- Deleted immediately: your Zoom access and refresh tokens, your Zoom email, user ID and account ID.
- Flagged: your upcoming calls that already have a Zoom meeting are marked “Zoom disconnected” for your admin, because Slotify can no longer move or track those meetings. New calls use your backup link until you reconnect.
- Kept as part of the business’s booking history: each past booking’s meeting ID, join link and attendance result. Your admin can ask us to delete these by emailing [email protected].
- In your Zoom account: meetings already created stay on your Zoom calendar; you can delete them in Zoom.
Tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and all traffic uses HTTPS. We never sell Zoom data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
- “Zoom signed Slotify out”: access expired or the app was removed in Zoom. Open your setup link and click Reconnect Zoom.
- A call used the backup link: Zoom couldn’t create the meeting at booking time. Reconnecting usually fixes it for new calls.
- Wrong Zoom account: on the Zoom step click Use another account and sign in to the right one.
